Turrican II to be performed live in concert

Earlier this year, together with legendary game composer Chris Huelsbeck, we launched the successful Kickstarter campaign for Turrican II – The Orchestral Album, a brand new album of symphonic music from the much-loved Amiga game. We’re now very excited to announce that a selection of music from this new album will have its world premiere performance at Symphonic Selections, a concert of video game music in Bochum, Germany on November 12.

Both the afternoon and evening concerts feature a second half completely dedicated to music from the album, with brand new Turrican II arrangements from Roger Wanamo and Jonne Valtonen. Concert attendees can expect to hear pieces such as Concerto for Laser and Enemies, The Desert Rocks, The Great Bath, Freedom, The Final Challenge and more.

In addition, the first half of the concert will feature music from Final Fantasy, hugely popular mobile game Clash of Clans and excerpts from Jessica Curry’s BAFTA-winning score to Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture. It’s sure to be a concert not to be missed.
