Pianist Katharina Treutler in Final Symphony

As a soloist, Katharina Treutler has already played with orchestras such as the Armenian Philharmonic, the Erfurt Philharmonic and the Orchestre Régional de Cannes PACA. She has performed in numerous countries in Europe and Asia, including Belgium, China, Cyprus, France, Italy, Japan, Poland and Spain. She has won countless first prizes in music competitions such as the Luciano Luciani International Piano Competition in Italy, Les Rencontres Internationales des Jeunes Pianistes in Belgium and the German competition Jugend musiziert (piano solo).

Katharina Treutler will be performing the piano concerto from Final Fantasy X with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra when it plays Final Symphony Tokyo in Japan's capital city under the baton of Eckehard Stier, on 4 May 2014. This will be followed by performances from Katharina Treutler in both Aarhus (9 May) and Stockholm (18 June).
