Fans eager to hear the music of Final Fantasy VI, VII and X performed live should mark 7 May, 2016 in their calendar. Following its chart topping, digital album release earlier this year, the Final Symphony concert program is back and will make its debut in yet another country as it heads to Amsterdam’s world famous Concertgebouw.
Conductor Eckehard Stier and pianist Katharina Treutler are both confirmed for the performance – having worked on the studio album together – and will be joined on stage by the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra. Universally regarded as one of the finest concert halls in the world, courtesy of its incredible acoustics, the Concertgebouw is sure to be a fitting setting for Nobuo Uematsu’s and Masashi Hamauzu’s much-loved and magnificent themes.
Tickets for the concert range from 20 EUR to 34 EUR and go on sale on 1 June. More information on the concert, as well as a link to ticket sales can be found here: www.concertgebouw.nl/en/concerten/final-symphony
The Final Symphony album is available now on iTunes.
