Final Symphony II performance in Stockholm

Since 2006, Merregnon Studios has been fortunate enough to support the orchestra with its video game concert productions, most recently at Final Symphony Stockholm. The respected magazine LEVEL concluded in 2014: “It's not always easy to surprise an audience, but Final Symphony is a sweet revenge on everyone who thought we already heard the best from Nobuo Uematsu’s tunes.”

On 9 June 2016, the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra will be presenting Final Symphony II Stockholm, the event will mark the orchestra's 10th anniversary for concerts of music from video games. Under the baton of Giedré Slekyté, arrangements from Final Fantasy V, VIII, IX and XIII will be performed, with Terés Löf as the soloist on the piano.

Joining fans as special guest for the night is Final Fantasy XIII composer Masashi Hamauzu. He’ll talk about his successful career in video game music, as well as take questions from the audience in what will be an entertaining and informative evening.
