Final Symphony comes home to Europe for 2018 Spring tour

The epic FINAL FANTASY concert returns for four new dates in Germany and Austria.

Final Symphony, the award-winning concert program of music from the FINAL FANTASY series of games, is returning to Germany this Spring after a five year absence with shows in Hamburg, Berlin and Munich, followed by Final Symphony’s debut performance in Vienna, Austria. Described by legendary FINAL FANTASY composer Nobuo Uematsu as “a complex, highly sophisticated, superbly arranged concert”, Final Symphony is a musical tour de force, featuring some of the most beloved themes from FINAL FANTASY VI, VII and X. Starting at the Laeiszhalle Hamburg on March 2nd, the tour then moves to the prestigious Philharmonic Berlin on March 4th, the Gasteig Philharmonic Munich on March 14th and finishes at the world famous Vienna Konzerthaus on March 17th.

Called “an absolute triumph” by video game music website VGMOnline.net, Final Symphony has gained fans around the world with shows across Europe, Japan, the United States, New Zealand and China, while the official studio recording by the London Symphony Orchestra made news headlines when it topped the official iTunes Classical Charts in more than ten countries and scored top five Classical album spots on both the Billboard and Official UK charts.

The shows in Germany will be performed by the Filmorchester Babelsberg, together with pianist Mischa Cheung, under the stewardship of conductor Eckehard Stier, with the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra taking on performance duties in Vienna. Hosting each concert on stage will be the hugely popular presenter and producer of the YouTube channel NinotakuTV, Nino Kerl.

“When Final Symphony had its first ever performance in Germany five years ago I had no idea how successful it would be, but now that we’ve performed the show across the globe I’m so excited to finally bring it back again - plus, I’m delighted that we will also be presenting the show’s debut in Vienna,” said Final Symphony producer Thomas Bӧcker. “Whether you’re a Final Fantasy veteran or a complete video game newbie, you won’t want to miss hearing the music of FINAL FANTASY performed like this.”

Tickets for all the concerts can be purchased now from €49,95 via Eventim.de: https://goo.gl/suqq9X
